Today, Patti and I met with Dr. Henry Xiong, an oncologist with the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Ft. Worth. Shortly before we met with the doctor, one of the Center’s personnel met with us to give us a nice notebook to keep all our notes. She showed us how the notebook was organized.
There were tabs in this leather, zippered notebook for contact information, calendar, medications, treatment info, resources and support, a journal and miscellaneous tab. All well and good.
As Patti was looking through the impressive notebook, she flipped to the “Calendar” tab and saw some blank calendar entries for October, November and December.
‘Maybe it’s a small thing, but I sure would feel better if the calendar did not end in December,” Patti said. We both got a chuckle out of that while we were waiting to see the doc.
