Folks, I apologize for the lack of posts lately. There is no reason except that we’ve been traveling quite a bit lately looking after parents. We visit my mom in Houston a couple days just about every week. She has been going back and forth between the hospital and skilled nursing. At 84, she is suffering from emphysema, COPD and the after effects of pneumonia.

We’ve also been to Florida recently, helping Patti’s folks, Andy and Virginia, recover from Andy’s treatment for esophageal cancer.

So, I apologize for the lack of postings. As an update, I had a blood test on Tuesday and meet with my oncologist this Friday. We will discuss the latest markers and, hopefully, will not need to see him again for some time.
