Today I visited the oncologist for chemo and a review of the results of a CT scan I had this last week.
Continued good news: the active tumors in my lungs, liver and pancreas are shrinking. Everything else in the chest and abdomen and pelvis are normal. As an example of the kind of shrinkage, a tumor in my pancreas was 3.9 x 2.2 cm. That was my last CT scan six months ago. Last week’s scan showed the new size is 3.1 x 1.7 cm. Not a tremendous amount of shrinkage, but, hey, no growth!
Thank you, Lord, for your presence. And, thanks to all of you for your prayers and well wishes. I love you all.
To help us all celebrate the good things that happen in our lives, take a listen:

Whohoo that’s great news — now if you could only shrink your golf score! 🙂

Good to hear from you, Canoe-boy! How are you doing? Work ok? Family doing well?
Shrink my golf score –that’s a good one! I remember a BC cartoon panel from a few years ago. The guy is teaching the girl about golf. He says, “the goal is to get the ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible.”
She says, “so, if I don’t hit the ball at all, I win, right?”
The last panel shows the guy pouring over a putt late at night on the same green, saying, “so, if I don’t hit the ball at all …”
Good to hear from you, John. I pray you and family are well.

All is well. Bust season at work is over…time to recharge the batteries. Family is good — hope you are enjoying Grandpa time.
Did you catch the Lions game yesterday — nothing like playing in a canadian snowstorm…brought back fond memories of watching the Winnipeg Blue Bombers play in 40 below weather. Hot chocolate and cold feet — those were the days.
Stay well, my friend. Best to you and the family for the holidays.
Snowmobile-boy.
